The U-W Platteville Pioneer Student Center was packed on the night of Saturday, January 20, as the members of the Platteville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual celebration and awards night, Celebrating the Past, Present & Future. Featuring a recognition of past president Mike Olds and outgoing board member Ron Holl by 2007 President Tim Boldt, a year-in-review presentation from executive director Kathy Kopp, the presentation of annual virtue awards and the celebrations of myriad membership anniversaries, the evening was a wonderful celebration of what makes the Platteville area such a wonderful place in which to live, work and play.
